Our Services For Adults

Structured Family Caregiving Program

The Structured Family Caregiving Waiver is a program that allows for a parent to provide care for their child in their own home.  This type of waiver provides financial assistance to families who are caring for a medically complex child.  The parent gets compensated in the form of a tax-free stipend.  The waiver helps to cover the cost of caregiving, including respite care, transportation, and other necessary expenses. In order to qualify for the waiver, a parent must meet certain requirements. The parent must be 18 years of age or older, be able to pass a background check, and have a clean criminal history. In addition, the parent must be able to demonstrate that they are capable of providing quality care for their child.  The Structured Family Caregiving waiver can be an invaluable resource for families who are dedicated to providing care for their medically complex child. With the help of this waiver, parents can continue to provide the high level of care that their loved ones need and deserve.
