  • What is Structured Family Caregiving?
    The Structured Family Caregiver Waiver is a Medicaid program that allows family members to provide care for loved ones in their own homes. This type of Medicaid waiver allows caregivers to get paid to care for a loved one with a disability or chronic illness. The waiver helps to cover the cost of caregiving, including respite care, transportation, and other necessary expenses.
  • How does a client qualify for Structured Family Caregiving?
    To qualify for care, a client must be approved for Medicaid, live with their caregiver, and need help with activities of daily living like getting dressed or eating.
  • What is your service area?

  • What other care options are available to me?
    The Medicaid A&D Attendant Care Waiver program is another great option where your loved one or someone else can get compensated to take care of you. We also provide this type of care and find that many of our clients prefer this option because their loved one gets compensated more to provide care.
  • Structured Family Caregiving vs Attendant Care
    You have two options for taking care of your loved one. Option one is the Structured Family Caregiving program under the Medicaid A&D waiver. Under this program, you receive a daily stipend to care for your loved one. Option two is the Attendant Care program under the Medicaid A&D waiver. Under this program, you are paid an hourly rate to take care of your loved one. This program generally pays you more to provide care to your loved one. Whether it is Structured Family Caregiving or Attendant Care, we are able to assist you with both services.
  • How does a caregiver qualify to take care of a loved one?
    A caregiver can qualify to take care of a loved one if the loved one needs assistance with activities of daily living, lives in the same home, and is approved for Medicaid. If Medicaid approval is needed, we can help take the client through the process.
  • What other options are available to take care of my loved one?
    The Medicaid A&D Attendant Care Waiver program is another great option where you or someone else can get compensated to take care of your loved one. We also provide this type of care and find that many of our clients prefer this option.

    Yes, we are a locally owned and operated company. There are structured family caregiving companies that are not based in Indiana, such as CareForth (based out of Boston) and FreedomCare (based out of New York).
